The institute is located in a pollution-free lush green campus in Lohapur, Nalhati, Birbhum conducive to higher contemplation, growth and learning. The institute has started its journey with a huge stride towards providing the modern pharmacy education and training to each & every. Gitanjali College of Pharmacy is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) program is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal and Diploma in Pharmacy program is affiliated by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata.
Gitanjali College of Pharmacy is housed in spacious buildings with total build up area more than 68,000 Sq. Ft. spread over around 4 acres of land in a pollution-free lavish green campus situated beside the stretch of National Highway (NH-60) at Lohapur, Birbhum. The soothing campus is developed with facilities including sports ground, medicinal plant garden, auditorium, canteen, hostel etc.
Since beginning, the college is proactive in industry interaction through collaborative research, student training and placement. GCP has already signed Memorandum of Understanding with number of reputed colleges and universities across the country for joint research, seminar, workshops, conference, student and faculty exchange. The faculty members of GCP regularly published research and scholarly articles in national and international journals of repute.
