What Our Students, Parents & Alumni Say

Real voices. Real careers. Real trust.

Final Year B.Pharm Student!

I was very confused about which pharmacy college to choose after Class 12. A friend recommended Gitanjali and I visited the campus before applying. The laboratory facilities honestly impressed me — they are much better than what I expected from a college in Birbhum. The faculty are approachable and always willing to help outside class hours. My practical training here has given me real confidence for my career. If you are from Birbhum or any nearby district, Gitanjali is genuinely the best choice.

Father of D.Pharm Student!

When my son decided to pursue D.Pharm, I was concerned about quality education in our district. But visiting Gitanjali College of Pharmacy changed my mind completely. The PCI approval, the experienced teachers, and the fact that the college actively helps with government scholarships — it made the decision easy for our family. The college fee is affordable and my son's scholarship application was processed smoothly by the college administration. I am confident he will have a good career after completing D.Pharm here.

B.Pharm 2023 Graduate!

I got placed through the campus placement cell at Gitanjali. The placement team really works hard — they kept us informed about upcoming recruitment drives, helped with resume preparation, and arranged mock interviews before the actual company interviews. I joined Sun Pharma's quality department right after graduation. The practical training I received at Gitanjali's labs was directly useful in my job from Day One. I would strongly recommend Gitanjali to anyone serious about building a pharmaceutical career.

Assistant Professor, Pharmacology

Teaching at Gitanjali has been a deeply rewarding experience. The institution genuinely cares about academic standards — we are given the resources and freedom to teach effectively and conduct meaningful practicals. The students here come with real motivation, especially those from Birbhum's semi-urban areas who know the value of a good pharmacy education. I am proud to be part of a faculty team that has seen hundreds of graduates build careers in hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutical research, and community health.

Got Questions?

Indeed. The Gitanjali College of Pharmacy is an authorized institution from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). PCI is a regulating body for pharmacy studies in India as per the Pharmacy Act of 1948. Therefore, all the D.Pharm and B.Pharm courses that are offered at our college are valid and authorized in India.

Gitanjali College of Pharmacy is offering two PCI approved pharmacy courses – D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) and B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy). D.Pharm is a 2 year Diploma course that is recognized by the WBSCTE, whereas the B.Pharm program is a 4 year Degree course that is affiliated to MAKAUT.

Applicants should be Class 12 (10+2) pass in Physics and Chemistry as core subjects along with Biology/Mathematics as the third subject. A minimum percentage of 50% should be obtained in Physics and Chemistry (45% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B applicants). Minimum age: 17 years at the time of admission.

Class 12 with physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics, and a minimum 50% aggregate percentage (minimum 45% for reserved category) are the criteria for direct B.Pharm admission (first-year students). Admission is based on WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). Those with D.Pharm can apply for lateral entry into B.Pharm without WBJEE.

Gitanjali College of Pharmacy provides attractive fee structures for students who join either the D.Pharm course or the B.Pharm course. The fee depends on the year in which a student joins and the prevailing government norms. For more information on our current fee structure, call us at 97348 92617 or 90911 98055.
